I am sure we are convinced that what a man can do ,woman can do better. This quote is now a rampant issue in Nigeria governance.Many women have declared their intention to contest for 2015 governorship election in their respective states.

The women promised to provide impactful governance for the people if elected governors. These female aspirants have held consultations with relevant stakeholders as one of the major steps to realize their ambition.

They seems to have rejected the old way in which women are alloted as deputy governorship position in the country. Among the women are Lady Virgy Etiaba, Mrs Pauline Tallen, Mrs Kofoworala Bucknor-Akerele. These women mentioned previously had attempted in their respective states in the past, but lost the election to their male-counterparts.
